Monday 17th June – Reception in the Town Hall hosted by Stockholm City

In the first evening of the conference, the BIOPOL attendees will have the privilege to attend a welcome reception at the City Hall. The Stockholm City Hall, with its spire featuring the golden Three Crowns, is one of the most famous silhouettes in Stockholm. It is one of the country’s leading examples of national romanticism in architecture. The Stockholm City Hall is also home to the great Nobel banquet, which takes place right after the Nobel Prize ceremony. The attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Blue Hall, where the Nobel Prize laureates, royalty and guests have dinner, and also the Golden Hall, with its 18 million gold mosaic tiles, where the royal dance takes place after dinner.
