Invitation and scope
You are cordially invited to participate in the 4th International Conference on Biodegradable and Biobased Polymers (BIOPOL-2013) to be held on 1-3 October 2013, in Rome, Italy.
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for scientists from both academia and industry (researchers, students and engineers from all over the world) to exchange up-to-date ideas on current research and new applications of bio-based and or biodegradable polymer materials. The conference program will feature lectures by expert invited speakers to be announced soon. We encourage participants to present their current research work as oral communications or posters in one of the topics of the program.
1st and 2nd BIOPOL were organized in Alicante (Spain) in October 2007 and 2009, while BIOPOL-2011 was held in Strasbourg (France). All these previous conferences were an immediate success, with more than 250 researchers from around the world, presenting their latest results on this field. The success of the previous editions aimed to go on with this 4th edition. Our challenge is to improve the excellent scientific program of the previous editions as well as to promote contacts between participants in a relaxed and pleasant environment, in an unique city with some of the most important touristic and cultural attractions in the world.
